Hey Everyone,

I am a member of a group of recent college grads trying to create a new way of approaching physical fitness.yes"">  Insufficient or absent motivation to exercise poses a huge risk to the health of average Americans: 30% of people nationwide are obese
while only about 13% of US citizens own gym memberships.  We created the survey below to learn
more about what motivates the average person to exercise or, in many cases,
stay home on the couch.

If you have time, please fill out the survey and/or send it to your friends: any response will contribute to our understanding of exercise motivation.  After the survey has
received enough responses we may be performing a pilot study in Boston complete
with a free gym membership to test out theories on fitness and motivation.  If you would be interested in
participating in this study, enter your email at the bottom of the survey.  Thanks for all of your help,

Best,

Geoff

Geoff, you might want to hook up with Gerald Evans, MD, who wrote a book and writes a health blog about how health insurance doesn't really address underlying health issues. He used to run motivational programs that involved exercise to improve heart health. He might be able to help with your study / maybe you could help get the word out on his book?

Cheers,
Mark J.
