Seafarers Island Holiday Boat Trip to Spectacle Island at Spectacle Island in the Boston Harbor Islands National Park

Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands host the annual New Year's Day boat trip to Spectacle Island in Boston Harbor. Enjoy five miles of walking trails. The island's north drumlin is the highest point in the harbor with the best views of the surrounding islands and city skyline. The Visitor Center will be open. - I volunteer with Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands year round on a variety of activities including boat trips. Between June and October I am a seasonal ranger with the Boston Harbor Islands National Park. I lead programs about the islands for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UMass Boston.
